We are currently seeking a well-rounded individual to join our team as an Outbound Supervisor in our Pocahontas, Arkansas distribution center.
This role will coordinate and supervise the picking, packing, and shipping of all finished goods, and ensure shipment schedules are met daily utilizing proper personnel in accordance with budgeting constraints.
Key Responsibilities Exhibit sound and accurate judgment Demonstrate flexibility and adapt quickly to change Ensure high quality and quantity of work Take initiative to ask for help and to help others when needed Be dependable, meet commitments, and manage staff to do the same Handle employee issues appropriately Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills, be self-directed and self-motivated with the strong ability to motivate others appropriately Certification and ability to operate powered equipment for a distribution center Education & Experience 1
years of supervisory experience Experience working in a distribution center Experience delegating work, leading staff to meet daily standards, and the ability to work well and effectively under pressure Computer literate with some experience in the Microsoft suite of products (excel, word, outlook) Associate degree preferred, but not required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, crawling, speaking, listening, excellent vision OTHER REQUIREMENTS MUST be authorized to work in the United States Quick Apply.
